Intro to Writing

Writing is not just about writing β€” it’s about thinking, holistically, about the world we live in and our place in it. This hands-on nonfiction course will guide students to work towards national submissions for real-life audiences. They will learn how to conduct research, using writing to explore their curiosities, and enter contests like the NPR Essay/Podcast, Stossel in the Classroom, the New York Times Contests, Harvard Crimson Global Essay and more, to discover the power of their own voice.
